Tunisian President, Kais Saied, received, on Thursday, an invitation from King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to participate in the 33rd Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Summit Level, which will be held on May 16, 2024 in Manama, Bahrain.

The President of the Republic had a meeting with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Tunisia, Abdulaziz Muhammad Abdullah Al-Eid, at Carthage Palace, and who handed him the letter of invitation, stated the Tunisian Presidency.

The Head of State stressed Tunisia's keenness to consolidate joint Arab action, develop its mechanisms as well as defend the issues of the region, particularly, Palestinians' right to establish an independent and fully sovereign State with Jerusalem as its capital, the same source said.
