During the past 48 hours, a patrol of the land border authority in Haidra, Kasserine, arrested 30 migrants from sub-Saharan African nationalities surreptitiously crossing the Algerian-Tunisian border, according to the National Guard spokesman.

In the Amra region of Sfax, the National Guard was able to arrest 12 people from different African nationalities "who were intending to sneak across the maritime borders towards the European space" and seized a sum of money from them.

According to the same source, National Guard units thwarted a stealth crossing of the maritime borders and seized a vessel carrying 16 persons from different African nationalities.
