This morning, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at the headquarters of the Tunisian Government, a Tunisian-Emirati working session was held, chaired by the Tunisian Head of Government, Najla Bouden, on the occasion of the high-level Emirati delegation visit to Tunis, led by Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Cabinet Member and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, who yesterday had a meeting with the President of the Republic.

During this session, many topics and fields of research and study were discussed, especially those related to desalinating of the sea water for various uses and purposes especially potable water, in addition to the industrial field, renewable energies and infrastructure in the sector of transportation, as well as the available possibilities in the field of economic and financial cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries.

The two parties agreed to raise the level of economic cooperation to higher levels and to continue consultations on the features of the projects that will be agreed upon, and also to provide the best ways to implement them in the best conditions and the fastest time.
