Amira Mohamed: the new vice-president of Federation of Arab Journalists
The National Syndicate of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) said it has won a seat in the Federation of Arab Journalists (FAJ), after its vice-president Amira Mohamed was elected as vice-president of the Federation.
The FAJ held its 14th electoral congress on October 18-19 in Cairo, with the participation of 19 unions, authorities and associations of journalists from Arab countries, SNJT said in a statement Wednesday.
Founded in 1964 in Cairo, the FAJ holds its electoral congress every four years.
