Bouden receives the Director of the ILO office for the Maghreb countries

The Presidency of the Tunisian Government announced that the Head of Government, Najla Bouden, received yesterday, July 27, 2022, the Director of the International Labor Organization’s Office for the Maghreb countries, Rania Bikhazi, following Bikhazi's participation in the closing session of the joint cooperation project with the Tunisian Ministry of Social Affairs on “Supporting the Improvement of Migration Governance and the Advancement of Fair Hand Migration Working in the Maghreb Countries” implemented by the International Labor Office in Tunisia with funding from the Italian Agency for Cooperation and Development under the initiative of the Tunisian Ministry of Social Affairs.

During this meeting, the Head of Government praised the efforts of the International Labor Organization in establishing social justice, achieving decent working conditions, strengthening social protection and protecting workers’ rights..

From her part, the Director of the International Labor Organization Office for the Maghreb countries praised the long-standing Tunisian experience in the field of social dialogue, stressing the organization's readiness to further support Tunisia at this critical stage.

She also touched on the most important cooperation projects implemented by the International Labor Office in Tunisia in several areas.
