COVID-19: more than 27,000 new cases were recorded last week

The Tunisian Ministry of Health announced in its weekly report that it had recorded 27,340 new cases with the corona virus during the last week from July 11 to 17, that is equivalent to 4000 new cases per day.

According to the same report, the number of deaths increased, which amounted to 96 deaths, compared to 56 deaths during the previous week, while the percentage of positive analyzes decreased to 46.1 percent, after conducting more than 59 thousand analyzes, 27,340 of which were positive.

During the same period, public and private hospitals and clinics received 311 new cases, i.e. no more than 1.1 percent of the total number of infected.
