The Head of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, Mr.Samir Majoul received today, Tuesday, June 7, 2022, the Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Tunisia, Mr.Mark Girard, with the presence of some members from the executive office of the union.

The Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts confirmed, in a statement, that the meeting dealt with the general economic and social situation in the country, as well as the progress of the current talks between Tunisia and the IMF.

The two sides also discussed the existing cooperation programs between Tunisia and the IMF, as well as the reforms that Tunisia is working to adopt to overcome the difficult economic situation.
