
Strengthening Ties: Tunisian and Egyptian Foreign Ministers Commit to Cooperation
On July 3, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, engaged in a telephone conversation with Mr. Badr Abdel Aty, the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the call, Ammar extended his congratulations to Abdel Aty on his appointment, expressing his pleasure in resuming communication and wishing him great success in his esteemed position, stated the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.
The conversation underscored a shared commitment to advancing the relationship between Tunisia and Egypt. Both ministers affirmed their dedication to realizing the vision of their respective leaders, President Kais Saïed of Tunisia and President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi of Egypt, to strengthen fraternal relations and enhance cooperation across various sectors.
In addition to bilateral relations, the ministers emphasized their intention to continue fostering consultation and coordination on regional issues, particularly the just cause of Palestine. They also discussed other regional and international matters of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to collaborative efforts for the benefit of both nations and the broader region.
