The Presidency of the Tunisian Republic stated that Today, Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the President Mr.Kais Saied, supervised the meeting of the Supreme Council of Armies, which was devoted to a number of issues related to the role of the armed forces in securing the homeland and citizens.

During this meeting, the Head of State praised the role played by the military forces in all fields in complete harmony with the armed security forces.

The meeting dealt with the accelerating and successive regional and international situations, where the President of the Republic stressed the need to deal with them on the basis of the constants of the Tunisian foreign policy.

The meeting also touched on national security, which is not based on security considerations in the narrow sense, but includes all sectors: food security, energy security and health security, especially in the current circumstances in which the world is living.
