The Tunisian  Ministry of Cultural Affairs received Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Tunis-Carthage International Airport, the international movie star Claudia Cardinale, who is visiting Tunisia from May 25-30, 2022, according to the Facebook page of the Ministry.

This visit comes at the invitation of the Municipality of La Goulette and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the Cultural Association "Piccola Sicilia", within the framework of the inauguration of the Claudia Cardinale street in La Goulette or "Little Sicilia" on May 29, 2022, in honor of this Tunisian-Italian star.

In a media statement, the international movie star Claudia Cardinale expressed her happiness to visit Tunisia, which she left since the fifties of the last century. For her, Tunisia is the country lived her childhood and youth, which remained engraved in her memory and conscience.
