The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister, Othman Jerandi, will pay a working visit to Beirut in order to participate in the work of the Consultative Meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers, which will be held on July 1-2, 2022. 

The Arab Foreign Ministers will discuss the most prominent developments in Arab issues and their regional and international interactions, in order to establish the principles of continuous consultation and coordination, and in order to unify Arab positions in light of the exceptional regional and international situations.

The meeting will also represent an opportunity to discuss ways to find sustainable political settlements for the region's issues and to jointly confront the current challenges, especially those related to food and energy security.

The Minister will hold a number of meetings with his counterparts from the Arab countries with the aim of following up on bilateral relations and discussing ways to strengthen them.

The Minister will also have a meeting with the Secretary General of the League of Arab States in order to study ways to enhance the role of the League and exchange views on the various issues on the agenda of the ministerial meeting.
