
Tunisia, Algeria: discussing development in tourist cooperation
Yesterday, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, the Tunisian Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Moez Belhussein, arrived in Algiers on a working visit until September 30 at the invitation of the Algerian Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Yassine Hammadi.
During a working session, the Algerian Minister welcomed his Tunisian counterpart and the accompanying delegation, thanking him for accepting the invitation to participate in the activities of the International Salon for Tourism and Travel on September 29, 2022 at the Exhibition Palace – Pine Maritime in Algiers.
The Algerian Minister praised the distinguished relations between the leadership of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
He added that there are many fields and specializations that can be developed within the framework of bilateral tourism cooperation, especially tourism training, air and sea connectivity and other fields, which contributes to the development of the number of Algerians arriving in Tunisia.
From his part, the Tunisian Minister renewed his thanks to his Algerian counterpart for the warm reception, which confirms the distinguished relationship between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, wishing him and all the team working with him success in the exhibition as well as in the upcoming Arab summit in Algeria.
He also stressed that there is a will from the leadership of the two countries to further develop and strengthen bilateral cooperation in many fields, including those related to the tourism sector, based on the recommendations of the Joint 5th Session of the Tunisian-Algerian Committee in the field of tourism held in Tunisia last August.
