Tunisia and Côte d'Ivoire Strengthen Bilateral Ties

On August 9, 2024, Tunisian Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar met with Ivorian Foreign Minister Léon Kacou ADOM in Tunis.

The two ministers discussed enhancing cooperation between Tunisia and Côte d'Ivoire, focusing on areas like agriculture, technology, renewable energy, and trade. They emphasized the strong relationship between the two countries and urged private sectors to play a more active role in boosting economic ties, stated the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.

They also addressed issues such as irregular migration and regional security, agreeing on the need for joint efforts to combat these challenges. The meeting concluded with the signing of a Joint Communiqué to reinforce bilateral cooperation.
