Tunisia, Indonesia: discussing military cooperation

The Tunisian Minister of National Defense, Imad Memmish, received on Monday, May 30, 2022, at the Ministry headquarters, the Indonesian Ambassador to Tunisia where they discussed ways to open up prospects for military cooperation between the two countries.

The Minister of National Defense affirmed the depth of the historical ties that exist between the two countries, expressing the readiness of the Tunisian side to establish military cooperation between the two countries in the fields of training and exchange of experiences, noting that the final version of the Military Agreement is completed and ready to be signed on the occasion of the upcoming visit of the Indonesian Minister of Defense to Tunis.

From his part, the Indonesian Ambassador expressed his country's eagerness to establish military cooperation relations between the two countries in areas of common interest and pledged to strive towards strengthening and developing them.
