Tunisia, Japan: discussing cooperation on several levels

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Nabil Ammar, received this afternoon, March 6, 2023, the Ambassador of Japan to Tunisia, Takeshi Osuga.

The meeting dealt with the friendship and cooperation relations between Tunisia and Japan and the outcomes of the eighth session of the Tokyo International Symposium on African Development TICAD 8, which our country hosted last August 2022.

On this occasion, the Minister noted the long-standing bilateral relations between the two countries, expressing the Tunisian government's determination to further develop and diversify them to include promising and future fields.

For his part, the Japanese ambassador valued the steady development of cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields, stressing his government's keenness to continue supporting Tunisia, especially on the economic and financial levels, and to develop the bilateral legal framework to further bring Japanese investments to Tunisia.
