Tunisia, Oman: Signing of MoU on Social Development

On May 16, 2024, Tunisia and the Sultanate of Oman signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of social development.

The agreement, signed by Tunisian Minister of Social Affairs, Malek Zahi, and Omani Minister of Social Development, Laila bint Ahmed Al-Najjar, aims to enhance cooperation in various social sectors.

The key areas of cooperation include support and rehabilitation for people with disabilities, family and child protection, elderly care, social security, and economic empowerment for families.

The memorandum also encourages the exchange of expertise, training courses, and research to strengthen joint social development efforts. Both ministers highlighted the importance of this agreement in fostering strong bilateral relations and sharing valuable experiences between the two countries.
