The Tunisian Minister of Transport Rabie Majidi received today, Monday, April 4, 2022, in his office, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Tunisia, Helen Winterton, according to a statement by the Ministry of Transport.

This meeting was about the current bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance it in the field of transport between Tunisia and Britain.

The Tunisian Minister of Transport praised the distinguished level of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially security and safety in the maritime and air transport sectors, which provides a stimulating climate for investment and tourism in Tunisia. He also reviewed the capacities that Tunisia possesses to attract business and partnership opportunities, in addition to the Ministry's programs in developing the transport system.

From her side, the British Ambassador expressed her country's readiness to continue supporting investment and expanding the horizons of partnership with Tunisia, expressing interest in projects related to railway transport.
