Tunisian FM received the Special Envoy of the Korean FM

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Nabil Ammar received today, Friday, the Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea for the promotion of the candidature of Busan City to host the Universal Exposition “Expo 2030” and President & Chief Executive Officer of " KIA motors", SONG Ho Sung, who is paying a working visit to Tunisia, on September 14 and 15, 2023.

On this occasion, the Tunisian Minister expressed his appreciation of the level reached by the relations of cooperation and friendship between Tunisia and Korea and reviewed with the Korean Special Envoy the existing bilateral cooperation programs.

The two sides examined also ways and means of further diversifying the bilateral cooperation. The Minister stressed, in this regard, the need to identify opportunities able to boost Korean investments in Tunisia and to improve bilateral cooperation particularly in the fields of capacity building, infrastructure projects development, as well as digitalization, stated the ministry.

the Tunisian Minister called for the strengthening of the triangular cooperation Tunisia-Korea-Africa.

From his side, the Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea expressed his country's entire readiness, as well as Kia Group, to further strengthen Tunisia-Korea relations, especially Korean investments in promising areas, and to advance them at all levels for the common interest of the two countries.
