Tunisian President receives the Foreign Minister of Bahrain

During a meeting at Carthage Palace on Wednesday, President Kais Saied reiterated, to the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Tunisia's commitment to enhancing and broadening cooperation with Bahrain across various sectors. He expressed determination to overcome any obstacles that might impede Bahraini projects and investments in Tunisia.

The discussions also centered on the upcoming Arab Summit in Manama, with the Head of State receiving updates on the summit's arrangements.

President Saied praised the diligent efforts being exerted to ensure the summit's success and its ability to meet the collective aspirations of the region's peoples. Tunisia affirmed its readiness to actively contribute to fostering joint Arab initiatives, as stated in a release from the Presidency of the Republic.

Furthermore, the meeting provided an occasion for President Saied to address the Palestinian cause. He reiterated Tunisia's unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against ongoing aggression, emphasizing Tunisia's steadfast backing for their legitimate aspirations, including the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

In return, the Bahraini Foreign Minister conveyed greetings from Bahraini leadership to President Saied, expressing well wishes for Tunisia's continued progress and development. He briefed the President on the preparations for the Arab Summit and the ongoing consultations aimed at formulating initiatives across various domains to advance common Arab interests and address prevailing challenges.
