The Spokesman of the US State Department Spokesman Ned Price said on the sidelines of a media meeting held on Monday, July 25, 2022, regarding his country's position on voting on the new draft constitution presented to the referendum in Tunisia, that his country is awaiting the official results to be announced by the electoral commission.

And he indicated that the United States will continue to stand by the aspirations of the Tunisian people in demanding a return to a democratic rule that respects human rights, as he described it.

It is up to Tunisians to decide their political destiny, Price added.
